STAY AWAY

Never use this company, they lied, cheated and stole from all of us.

Owner supports treason and proud to display hurtful messages on their trucks. Proud Trump supporter and other hate groups. They never made any apologies, zero accountability

Moving with Anber

Best value for a moving company in Montreal. I didn't think everything would fit, but their 30ft truck is massive (a real 30ft truck, beware of moving companies with 26ft trucks lying to their customers that it is 30. As a trucker myself, I know that putting a 30ft box on a truck costs almost 40k$ more nowadays because the chassis needs to be elongated which is a pricy operation that many companies simply don't have the budget for). Professionals with standards, big respect.

Bigot

Owned by a treasonous, hypocritical, bigoted, Bible-thumping extremist whose violently hateful views, rhetorical, and behaviour completely contradict the core teachings of Christianity — idolizing wealth-hoarding ultra-conservative politicians, media personalities, and other shameless grifters who serve only their own selfish interests as well as that of mega-corporations and monopolies; who, through fascist agendas, conspiracy theories, and manipulative propaganda, exploit and mislead the working class poor, diverting attention from systemic injustices (and, instead, pointing the finger at vulnerable minorities who are overwhelmingly devoid of state power, influence, and wealth) while pillaging natural resources, driving inflation and economic stagnation, and undermining collective futures to consolidate their own wealth and power.

Brother, I’ll speak directly to you now:

I’m guessing that, like most Québecois, your ancestors were uneducated, illiterate, and impoverished immigrants who were, at the very least, able to come to and thrive in the New World solely because [being born without disabilities in Europe to Christian parents] was rewarded more than ACTUAL MERIT or ancestral claim to this land.

And yet, you fail to see the irony of your xenophobia, racism, and wide variety of discriminatory policies. Brother, you are not Indigenous to Quebec, or Canada, or even broader “America.”

You didn’t choose to be born here any more than ‘foreigners’ chose to be born in places that were ravaged, made wildly unstable, and forever changed as a direct result of the sheer brutality and opportunism of Europeans’ greed.

Canadians and Americans have both HUGELY benefitted from the invasion, colonization, displacement, genocide, enslavement, and exploitation of Indigenous peoples and lands/natural resources, both at home and abroad, and yet — here you are, demanding more of the pie, while having the audacity to complain [that the people who have less as a direct or indirect result] want a fraction of our privilege.

I’m sorry that the system partly created to reward white men ‘somehow’ failed you as well, but the fact of the matter is that, first and foremost, the system has always existed to serve the wealthy at the expense of the poor.

You are right that a ‘minority’ seeks to destroy our way of life, but it is the very minority whose narratives you blindly support and parrot.

Rather than complain about immigrants, for everyone’s sake, I suggest you consider emigrating “back to Europe.”

( Alternatively, you could bother to actually read the Bible, and seriously reflect on all the ways fail to live up to the principles of your “messiah.” No, not Trump — the middle eastern Jewish socialist [born to an unwed teenage immigrant] who preached love and peace. )

God bless!

Long-distance move from Quebec to Ontario

Cost Estimate for a move done on July 26.

I was given a quote and the actual experience was more than a 100% cost overrun. The guys were polite, helpful and moved the stuff. There was not a lot of stuff to be moved, we did have some bigger pieces one being an armoire and the movers surcharged me $100 dollars because it was, I guess heavy. I was a little surprised by this but hey what choice does one have but to pay. So to sum up, the guys were respectful, polite, helpful however the disconnect between quote and actual cost seems too big.
